PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS XI TBSM 3 SMK MUHAMMADIYAH BLIGO SEMESTER GANJIL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023
Abstrak
Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar Matematika siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan 33 siswa kelas XI TBSM 3 SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo. Objek penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar Matematika siswa. Data motivasi belajar Matematika siswa dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar. Dalam angket tersebut terdapat pernyataan dengan masing-masing 5 pilihan yaitu sangat setuju (SS), setuju (S), kurang setuju (KS), tidak setuju (TS), sangat tidak setuju (STS). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dikatakan berhasil jika rata-rata skor motivasi belajar Matematika siswa minimal berada pada kategori tinggi. Untuk mengumpulkan data prestasi belajar Matematika siswa dikumpulkan melalui tes prestasi yang berbentuk 5 butir soal essay. Siswa dikatakan tuntas jika X ≥ 70; KK ≥ 85% . Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar Matematika siswa kelas XI TBSM 3 SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/ 2023. Ratarata motivasi belajar Matematika siswa pada awalnya adalah 64 dengan standar deviasi 7,2 dengan kualifikasi rendah. Setelah diterapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) maka terjadi peningkatan rata-rata motivasi belajar Matematika siswa sebesar 11% di siklus I sehingga rata-ratanya menjadi 71 dengan standar deviasi 6,2 berkualifikasi cukup. Hasil penelitian di siklus I masih belum memenuhi standar kriteria keberhasilan tindakan yang ditetapkan, sehingga masih perlu diadakan perbaikan. Perbaikan siklus I diterapkan di siklus II sehingga terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar Matematika siswa sebesar 28%. Rata-rata motivasi belajar Matematika siswa pada siklus II adalah 91 dengan standar deviasi 3,5 dan memiliki kualifikasi sangat tinggi. (2) Penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika siswa kelas XI TBSM 3 SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/ 2023. Nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar Matematika siswa meningkat dari 73 pada siklus I menjadi 81 pada siklus II hal ini mengindikasikan terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar Matematika siswa sebesar 11%. Pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal siswa adalah 74% (KK<85%) berada pada kategori belum tuntas, dan pada siklus II adalah 97% (KK>85%) berada pada kategori tuntas.

Abstract
This classroom action research aimed at increasing student motivation and learning achievement in Mathematics. This study involved 33 students of class XI TBSM 3 at SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo. The object of this research was the student’s learning motivation and mathematics achievement. Students’ mathematics learning motivation data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire. In the questionnaire, there are statements with each of the 5 choices, namely strongly agree (SA), agree (A), less agree (LA), disagree (D), strongly disagree (SD). This classroom action research was said to be successful if the averagescore of students’ motivation to learn Mathematics was at least reach the high category. Student mathematics achievement data were collected through achievement tests in the form of 5 essay items. Students’ score was classified as compled if it was ≥ 70; with classical completeness was ≥ 85%. The results of theanalysis showed that (1) the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can increase the students’ motivation to learn Mathematics in class XI TBSM 3 SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo in the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023. The initial average learning motivation of the students nly reached 64 with deviation standard 7.2 which belonged to low qualification. After applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, there was an increase in the average motivation of students to learn Mathematics by 11% in the first cycle so that the average became 71 with a deviation standard reached 6.2 which belonged to sufficient qualification. The results of the research in cycle I still did not meet the standard criteria for the success of the action set, so that improvements were still needed. The improvement in cycle I was applied in cycle II so that there was an increase in students’ motivation to learn Mathematics by 28%. The average mathematics learning motivation of students in cycle II was 91 with a deviation standard reached 3.5 thus it laid to very high qualification; (2) The application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve the mathematics learning achievement of class XI TBSM 3 students of SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo in the first semester of the Academic Year 2019/2020. The average score of students’ mathematics learning achievement increased from 73 in cycle I to 81 in cycle II. This indicated an increase in student mathematics learning achievement by 11%. In the first cycle the classical completeness (CC) of students was 74% ( CC<85%) which belonged to incomplete category, and in the second cycle it reached 97% (CC> 85%) which belonged to the complete category.
